Riverbend Sandler Pools and Patios outdoor environments and swimming pool construction company, is adding a Sales/Design Consultant to our sales department.
 Salary plus commission on sales during the first-6 months transitioning to a draw against sales commission
Other Aspects of the Role: Utilize company and manufacturer-provided software including Microsoft Dynamics NAV, AutoCAD, and Pool Studio 3D design
  • Leads are provided and self generated
  • You will be working from the office
  • No overnight travel is required, however, the ability and flexibility to work some evenings and Saturdays are required according to client needs

Renovation Construction Manager

Job Objective: Independently responsible for the development and performance of all Renovation Construction activities in RSP market. Direct renovation superintendents, project managers, and renovation construction crews throughout all phases of the renovation construction process. PM / Crew Training
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are followed by project manager team as well as Sub crews.
  • Manage PMs to ensure proper balance is met regarding workload based on PM experience, performance, project detail, and quantity.
  • Provide Director of construction and General manager with PM reviews bi-annually.
  • Conduct daily routine job site visits to ensure projects are on course.
  • Develop a job phase communication process and ensure customers, processing, scheduling teams, and internal stakeholders have consistent and sustained communication on each project.
  • Conduct Job audits / reviews with renovation sales manager to ensure that each job put into production meets profitability expectations.
  • Review charge backs with sales consultants and provide coaching for improvement.

  • Sit in on (2) prospective customers during the #2 presentation each week and assist sales consultants in closings.
  • After initial presentation/quote, develop a follow up process and ensure Design Consultants consistently follow up with each undecided customer to get a commitment.
  • Review sales records (dashboard) of all leads, quote ratios, and sales activity reports with Design Consultants monthly.
  • Ensure Design Consultants have updated pictures on iPads, Laptops, or presentation platform of choice.
  • Review charge backs with sales consultants and provide coaching for improvement.
  • Plan and lead once-a-week training and coaching for improved performance in sales meetings based on sales fundamentals i.e., building rapport, overcoming objections, delivering price, discounts, and promos, building value, our company story, and the like.
  • Conduct one-on-one reviews once a month with all Design Consultants to build more effective communication, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight and coaching for performance improvement.
Sales Management
  • Assist each DC with monthly goals by to achieve team/company goals.

  • Maintain prescribed gross profit percentage on Renovation Sales.
  • Provide monthly feedback to the General Manager regarding each Design Consultant’s performance and coaching plans.

  • Offer Design Consultant coaching, counseling, advice, support, motivation, or information they need to help them meet their sales objective.
  • Maintain sales team quote ratio of 85% or better versus sales leads.
  • Broadcast MTD performance to sales team three times per week (Mon, Wed, Fri) with enthusiasm, excitement, acknowledgement, and encouragement.
  • Review and audit sold client files for company required information.
  • Ensure all customer construction/plan change addendums are completed and turned into accounting and construction in a timely manner.
  • Ensure each salesperson contacts all new leads within 24 hours of receiving.
  • Ensure team members use company CRM / ERP detailing each customer contact and in which stage the lead sits.
  • Ensure Universal notes are current and updated in real time with the DC team.
  • Make in-field calls (#1) with each sales consultant once a month to insure they are following company procedures.
  • Personally sell a minimum of 5 Renovation Projects per month or a minimum of 900K annually.
  • Maintain a fun, upbeat, positive, encouraging environment for the sales team and foster relationships and partnerships within all departments.
  • Performance manage team following PIP process.
  • Other sales related objectives as assigned by General Manager
